Decorate wet wall surfaces with exquisite penny tiles!
While everybody is going big with massive tile sizes, the tiny ones carry power too. They are cheap, pretty and suit intimate settings. Round, square, hexagons, they fit into wet areas particularly well. Pools, bathrooms, and kitchens come to mind. The decoration is superbly done with penny tiles. Create an immense classic beauty in a moment and diversify surroundings so well.
The traditional porcelains, ceramics, and glass make the little penny tiles great investments. They are installed in fiberglass netting and can be quickly installed. Whatever the surface size and shape, the netting is easily cut and setting up done at great speed. It might look as if a lot of labor is involved, though!
In terms of costs too, penny tiles are just too affordable at about $5 per square foot. Compare that with the subway tiles and glass mosaics that could cost around $15 to $20 per square foot. Not only is the purpose quite the same, but the decorative value is so much greater with penny tiles. Since the search was for kitchen backsplash tiles, it would have been possible to cover the entire wall at that price. The bathroom could also do the same.
Consider the discounts and it is clear how much saving that means with penny tiles. The Grouts would have to be filled, but DIY would save further good money. Match the tile colors with the furniture, the curtains, floors, and walls, and sharp, dramatic effects are possible at little expense.
